Alfred Health Research Grants aim to fund research that will benefit
Alfred Health patients.
Shortlisted applicants have been invited to apply for three research grants
funded from The Alfred Research Trusts.
One grant is available in each of the following categories:
- Research in Patient Safety and Quality
- Clinical Research - Respiratory or Cardiovascular
- Clinical Research - Other than Respiratory or Cardiovascular
Level and duration of funding
Each grant will be for a maximum of $500,000 to be available
over three years as follows:
- 2011 - $200,000
- 2012 - $150,000
- 2013 - $150,000
The leading Chief Investigator (CIA) must have an
Alfred Health appointment.
An honorary appointment is acceptable.
Location of Research
The research must take place on the Alfred campus. The majority of the research must be
conducted within Alfred Health.
